Just a word to the wise:

Just clicking on the Bayfiles download button will initiate a new tab which offers what APPEARS to be the same file, but has a (numeric)and .EXE appendage added to the original ZIP file. :naughty: DO NOT ACCEPT OR EXECUTE THIS FILE!!

I found that right clicking on the Bayfiles page's Download button and selecting "Open Link in New Tab" does the trick and gets you an unmodified file as Mobius wished to pass on to us.

How come I cant get the freebie .exe file?
I tried to replicate this, but got the correct copy each time. :thumbsdown:

I tried and tried and tried :icon_cry2: ......Chromium, Firefox firejailed and un-jailed. Right click, left click.....same files every time.

Each time I've downloaded it, since you mentioned it, I've compared them with DiffPDF and PDF Studio to the original with no untoward results. ClamTK states no issues either, strange, but maybe Bayfiles loves Windows users and rewards them with a gift that just keeps on giving. :fun:

Thanks for heads up on the issue OTL. Its always better to be safe than sorry. :thumbup:

And yes, us poor tormented Souls known as Windows users may indeed be the targeted group. I often see attempts of this nature from Zippyfiles.com, too. No shortage of popup tabs, piggyback modules and redirected sites out there these days. SO... ALWAYS read the file description before clicking "Save" from your download box.
