If you want to learn how to use Linux and level up your career but are pressed for time, read on.

In this eBook, you will learn the most important concepts and commands, and be guided step-by-step through several practical and real-world examples. As new concepts, commands, or jargon are encountered they are explained in plain language, making it easy to understand. The most important material is condensed into five sections, each designed to be consumed in a day.

Here is what you will learn:
  • How to gain access to a Linux server and what Linux distribution is
What software is needed and what SSH is
The file system layout of Linux systems and where to find programs, configurations, and documentation
Basic Linux commands you'll use the most often
    And much, much more
If you feel like you don't have enough time and you're not sure where to start, this resource will help relieve your frustration and guide you toward the answers you need.

If I read this, will I be able to operate raspberry pi?
raspberry pi is debian I guess.
I have a neighbor using it, and I was surprise to see a very small computer :icon_eek:
well his problem was only connecting to wifi, so I manage to connect.
but LOL where is the ping? how to test internet connectivity??
good thing I found out how to run the browser "chromium" so I just visit a site to test if the internet is working.

Debian is a Linux distro so it should help. :book:
But don't take my word on it because I've never run Debian.

srego , raspberry pi is used for many purposes, so this book will help a little bit to learn Linux commands, but it won't cover raspberry pi uses. Raspberry pi has its own OS, Raspbian, but linux terminal commands are more or less the same for all OS's :)

The upload states you have to provide that info to get the download link. Just use a false name and address and a disposable email available from a variety of sites and you'll be good to go without revealing any personal information. :)
