i just made a new ISO and added gufw (think that should be included in minimal iso also). Thnx for the list looks good ... i was thinking about going tixati for the torrent client...the rest looks pretty standard.
Pidgin ?
electrum ?
popcorntime-ce ?
docky ?
openshot ?
veracrypt ?
Bug Fixes / changes:
- Sound not working in games installed via WINE
- (temp work around) Installer permissions not working resulting in failed install (see PRE install file on desktop)
- ADDED : gufw, custom boot screen, new backgrounds, other minor tweaks to UI
- Updated post install file (removed .sh files and added the codes as a text file, so people can see whats going on)
MrNiitriiX should I re-download the updated ISO?
I was just getting ready to burn the one I got yesterday.

up to you realy

... it has less bugs, looks bit cleaner and has the iptables gui installed (gufw) ... if download speeds are ok for you and you dont have to worry about bandwidth then i would say yes

MrNiitriiX, i'll support your distro m8

Recommended apps for a fully distro:
LibreOffice
GIMP
VLC Media Player
HandBrake
Dropbox
KeePass
qBitTorrent or Transmission
Wine
Tor
Gufw Firewall
SimpleScreenRecorder
BleachBit
NFO Viewer
Wow nice and clean looking.

Smooth layout, picked up my wireless mouse right away.
I'm still playing with it (the OS) and so far so good. I really like it.
Right know I have about a dozen different Linux disk that I'm trying. Still haven't found just the right one.
You asked about some suggestions as far as programs.
Popcorntime, VeraCrypt, Docky (something for me to play with)

All are good ideals.
How about:
Handbreak for video editor, Kodi for Media, and Okular for PDF?
I know Kodi has a lot of add on's but I would let that up to the user, they can add them as they go.
As well I agree with Pantheon as for what he stated above.
In the end it's your baby, so build it the way you want it and add what you think others would go for.
So far it is coming along nicely.

@ IDontHave1

my baby is done, im happy with the minimal install ... added applications is what ever the community wants ... call it a community release
fixed all the bugs now ... added a docky and put the panel at the top
am now in the process of adding the apps you have sugested (the packages from the AUR need to be added via a custom repository so ill add them later, as its a bit hit and miss sometimes and causes the comp of the iso to fail...)

So you have got this release on Sourceforge now
839mb................................standard
https://sourceforge.net/projects/niixarch/
1.5 GiB..................extra
https://sourceforge.net/projects/niixar ... able/extra
Way to go bro!
I'm late with this post as I have been fiddling with my router for the past day or so.
I
would have asked for Firejail and Firetools to be included, however it seems I have missed the boat
Hopefully I can install this easily myself from the tar files.
I'll try again tonight. Hopefully the new router firmware will keep me online for the duration.

will add: Firejail and Firetools on the next update

nobody misses the boat here at ChattChitto
(firejai is in the standard repositories and firetools is in the AUR ... so an easy install until updated version)
sudo pacman -S firejail
yaourt -S firetools
(or with the included GUI installer pamac)
on youtube i have been asked to make a 32bit version ... so i though whilst i am at it ill make a few tweaks to all versions and upload when ready

... OCD popping its head round the corner
[updated the DL link for easyer copy past, thnx OTL]

Looks great but unfortunately I still cannot download this. On to my 9th overnight try now.
Even using different browser doesn't work, damn those ISP *&6*&7*7's
Maybe I need a tut on wget or a torrent link still.

Still a no-goer here.
The line problem I was facing a little while back has now been corrected.
I’ve tried to download this about
20 times now but I am still getting an error upon completion of the download and with two different browsers.
I give up now.
